Join us on Friday, Apr 24, 2026 at 2:00pm – 5:00pm, in King Hall, Room 1001. Reserve your spot at the event through this RSVP: RSVP for Shared Legacies

The event will include a panel discussion with the documentarian Shari Rogers, Ph.D. and UC Davis faculty and Kevin R. Johnson, J.D., moderated by UC Davis Emeritus Professor of Sociology, Bruce Haynes, Ph.D. and reception following the film. Shared Legacies highlights the historical partnership between Black and Jewish communities during the Civil Rights Movement and demonstrates its continued relevance today.
