Essence of the Diaspora is an event to celebrate Black Futures Month in Davis and highlight the richness of the African diaspora across cultures, regions, and generations.
Essence of the Diaspora centers joy as an act of resistance and affirmation, showcasing music, art, and cultural expression from across the diaspora. UC Davis Black student organizations will lead the event with captivating performances, accompanied by resource tabling and Black-owned food trucks.
Come celebrate Black joy, love, and abundance at the Silo with us!
Will begin at 11:00 AM, at the UC Davis Silo on February 19th.
