Word hope is written artistically on a rock

NAMI Connection Support Group for Young Adults is a free, peer-led support group for anyone between the ages 18 and 26 who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Mental health conditions include anxiety disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, or any condition that affects a person’s ability to lead a fulfilling life. You do not need a formal diagnosis to attend this support group; any young person concerned with their mental health and seeking support may attend. NAMI Connection for Young Adults provides resources to help young people build a support network and access help. Participants will learn together how to establish and maintain wellness.

You do not need a formal diagnosis to attend. Anyone who is seeking mental health support may attend.

What You’ll Gain
By sharing your experiences in a safe and confidential setting, you will experience connection, receive information about resources, and learn coping strategies. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community. You’ll benefit from other’s experiences, discover your inner strength, and receive support by sharing your own experiences in a non-judgmental space.

NAMI Connection Support Group for Young Adults meets on the first Wednesday of the month (in person) and on the third Wednesday of the month  (via Zoom) from 7pm-8pm.
