BEITNA: A Gathering for Arab Heritage, Culture and Solidarity

Join International House on April 13, from 2:30 to 6:30 PM for Beitna: A Gathering for Arab Heritage, Culture, and Solidarity, a special event recognizing Arab American Heritage Month. Beitna, meaning “our house” in Arabic, brings together the community to experience and engage with Arab culture.
Enjoy art displays, cultural performances, poetry readings, and educational materials that highlight the rich history and contributions of Arabs and Arab Americans. Children’s programs, crafts, delicious food, and local vendors will provide an opportunity to explore the cultural diversity of the Arab world.
This event fosters a culturally vibrant, globally connected, and inclusive community by sharing Arab American heritage, culture, and contributions with the broader public. It offers a unique opportunity for the Arab and Arab American communities in Davis and the surrounding region to gather in solidarity and build connections.
