Danzantes del Alma

Danzantes del Alma (DDA), the student folklorico dance troupe of UC Davis established in 1977, has made it possible to celebrate traditional and contemporary Mexican, Chicanx and Latinx cultures through learning and performing traditional dances of Mexico and contemporary dances of the Chicanx/Latinx experience.
DDA is coming to the Mondavi Center for their 47th Annual Show, Historias de mis Raíces (Spanish for Stories of My Roots), on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. Danzantes del Alma is a popular folklorico dance troupe that is highly regarded for its enthusiasm, beauty, and skill. The troupe has performed at numerous campus events and throughout northern California.
Tickets are $16.50 for children (under 18), $18 for UC Davis students and $28.50 for others. Tickets are available on the Mondavi Center Ticket Purchase site. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m. at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts.
