Mandela Day

Join International House Davis as they honor the legacy of Nelson Mandela on his birthday with an afternoon of reflection, connection and celebration. This year’s Mandela Day features a panel of three Mandela Washington Fellows visiting from Sub-Saharan Africa, each delivering a short, TED-style talk. These Fellows will share personal stories and insights on leadership, resilience, and social impact.

Following the talks, community members are invited to stay for casual conversation, a festive popcorn bar, and birthday cake in honor of Nelson Mandela.
