Originating during La Raza Week, an event that commemorates and celebrates the heritage, contributions, and struggles of the Chicanx/Latinx community, La Gran Tardeada has a remarkable history spanning over 50 years. Over time, it has grown into a beloved tradition cherished by community members and eagerly anticipated each year.
