Human Trafficking Awareness Month: Community Forum

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and we invite you to join us for a powerful and informative community forum focused on education, prevention, and collective action.

Empower Yolo and Soroptimist International Davis are partnering to host youth- and adult-focused presentations and a community panel, discussing trafficking prevention and answering:

• Does human trafficking happen here?
• How many people are affected?
• Who is most at risk?
• Is prevention possible?
• How can our community help?

This event is an opportunity to learn, listen, and stand together as a community committed to awareness and prevention. It is a free event, with drinks and appetizers provided. Doors open at 5:30 for resource fair. Program from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall.
