La Gran Tardeada is a vibrant and lively day-long celebration that brings together the Chicanx/Latinx community in a joyous gathering filled with delicious food, enchanting music, and energetic dance. La Gran Tardeada serves as a focal point for celebrating the diverse intersectional identities and experiences within the beautiful Chicanx/Latinx community.

Through its festivities and cultural celebration, La Gran Tardeada strives to preserve and transmit the heritage and legacy of the Chicanx/Latinx community to future generations. Everything will take place on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12pm to 6pm at the UC Davis Quad.

All are welcome to this free, open to the public, outdoor, family-friendly event.
