Sacramento Pride Weekend events are produced by the Sacramento LGBT Community Center. Their mission is to create a region where LGBTQ+ people thrive. They work to support the health and wellness of the most marginalized, advocate for equity and justice, and build a culturally rich LGBTQ+ community. Pride is their largest community engagement event of the year, gathering more than 20,000 people throughout the weekend to celebrate LGBTQ+ arts, culture, and activism. Net proceeds from the events support year-round services at the Sacramento LGBT Community Center, making up approximately 2.5% of the Center’s annual budget. For more information on the impact of their work, visit the Center’s website at: https://sacramentopride.org/.
This year’s Pride Festival will feature hundreds of exhibitors and vendors from throughout the region, including community retailers, diverse food and beverage, nonprofit and public service providers, faith communities, and many more. This year’s event will include three stages featuring exciting entertainment from the Sacramento region and the greater LGBTQ+ community. In addition to entertainment and exhibitors, the festival grounds will hold multiple activations and attractions that will bring guests of all ages and backgrounds together in an environment that entertains, educates, and inspires!
The festival runs Saturday, June 8, 2024, 12 p.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, June 9, 2024, 12 p.m.- 6 p.m.
