DESCRIPTION:Essence of the Diaspora is an event to celebrate Black Futures Month in Davis and highlight the richness of the African diaspora across cultures\, regions\, and generations. \nEssence of the Diaspora centers joy as an act of resistance and affirmation\, showcasing music\, art\, and cultural expression from across the diaspora.
