DESCRIPTION:Loopalooza is an annual event hosted by the City of Davis in collaboration with Bike Davis and community organizations to get people of all ages out on their bikes and cycling through the Davis Bike Loop. \nThe City of Davis is inviting everyone to get on their bikes for the 14th Annual Loopalooza on Sunday\, May 4\, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In partnership with Bike Davis\, this beloved family-friendly tradition is a community bike ride event along the 12-mile bike loop. \nMake this free event a special day for your family and friends by visiting local greenbelts\, picnicking at the park and connecting with friends and neighbors. Participants can start anywhere on the bike loop and ride in either direction.

DESCRIPTION:Presented by the César Chávez Youth Leadership Conference Team (DEI | HSI)  \nSponsored Regional K-16 Collaborative Grant Program \nThe César Chávez Youth Leadership Conference and Celebration is a free college and career motivational event for junior high\, high school and community college students\, as well as parents and community members.  The goal of this annual conference is to introduce the value of attending college – particularly to individuals who may not be considering higher education due to lack of information or financial resources. \nEach year\, the conference delivers an engaging program that: \n\nNurtures the concept that all individuals are leaders;\nProvides information on the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) admission requirements;\nProvides information on the California Community College (CCC) matriculation and enrollment process; and\nIntroduces college success resources and career workforce opportunities in STEM in the public and the private sector.\n\nThis free conference averages over 1800 attendees each year\, from predominantly low-income and underrepresented backgrounds.
