DESCRIPTION:NAMI Connection Support Group for Young Adults is a free\, peer-led support group for anyone between the ages 18 and 26 who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Mental health conditions include anxiety disorder\, depression\, bipolar disorder\, obsessive-compulsive disorder\, post-traumatic stress disorder\, schizophrenia\, or any condition that affects a person’s ability to lead a fulfilling life. You do not need a formal diagnosis to attend this support group; any young person concerned with their mental health and seeking support may attend. NAMI Connection for Young Adults provides resources to help young people build a support network and access help. Participants will learn together how to establish and maintain wellness. \nYou do not need a formal diagnosis to attend. Anyone who is seeking mental health support may attend. \nWhat You’ll Gain\nBy sharing your experiences in a safe and confidential setting\, you will experience connection\, receive information about resources\, and learn coping strategies. The group encourages empathy\, productive discussion and a sense of community. SUMMARY:Danzantes del Alma
DESCRIPTION:Danzantes del Alma (DDA)\, the student folklorico dance troupe of UC Davis established in 1977\, has made it possible to celebrate traditional and contemporary Mexican\, Chicanx and Latinx cultures through learning and performing traditional dances of Mexico and contemporary dances of the Chicanx/Latinx experience. \n  \nDDA is coming to the Mondavi Center for their 47th Annual Show\, Historias de mis Raíces (Spanish for Stories of My Roots)\, on Saturday\, April 25th\, 2026. Danzantes del Alma is a popular folklorico dance troupe that is highly regarded for its enthusiasm\, beauty\, and skill. The troupe has performed at numerous campus events and throughout northern California. \n  \nTickets are $16.50 for children (under 18)\, $18 for UC Davis students and $28.50 for others. Tickets are available on the Mondavi Center Ticket Purchase site. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.\, and the show starts at 6 p.m. at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts.

SUMMARY:Echoes of Resilience: A Multimedia Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Echoes of Resilience is a traveling multimedia exhibition centered on the lived experiences of survivors of the 2023 Türkiye–Syria earthquakes. The event will take place on April 28\, 2026 at 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm\, at the International House. \n  \nThe demonstration brings together oral narratives\, photography\, music\, personal artifacts\, and visual art to document stories of loss\, survival\, and rebuilding. The exhibition also includes educational materials exploring the impacts of trauma and pathways toward healing. \n  \nOn display as part of the Roots & Routes series at International House Davis\, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on themes of migration\, displacement\, belonging\, and the meaning of home. \n  \nRSVP here for the opening ceremony.
