Through interactive discussions\, scenario-based learning\, and expert guidance\, you’ll gain confidence in how to approach sensitive situations\, start supportive conversations\, and respond effectively in moments of crisis or uncertainty. \nWhether you’re a student\, educator\, employee\, or community member\, MHFA equips you to make a meaningful difference. Participants learn how to identify early warning signs of mental health challenges\, listen nonjudgmentally and communicate with empathy\, respond to crises such as panic attacks or severe distress\, connect individuals with appropriate resources and support systems \nMFHA offers both youth and adult trainings. The Board meetings occur on every first and third Thursday\, in the City of Davis Community Chambers. 23 Russell Boulevard. Public session starts at 6:30 PM.  Meetings are cablecast live on Channel 17 (Comcast) or streamed on the DJUSD-TV website. \n  \nThe Davis Joint Unified School District’s Board of Education is comprised of five community members\, responsible for setting district policy\, approving the budget\, and hiring the superintendent for schools in Davis\, California.
